A showcase of innovation and entrepreneurship from across Swindon and Wiltshire last night as The Techies made their return.
The technology awards, now in their sixth year, celebrate the region’s vibrant tech community and shine the spotlight on the exciting work being done – with this year’s event held at the Business Cyber Centre in Chippenham on Thursday, 12 October.
Thrings has been involved with the event, run by The Business Exchange, since 2019 and continued its partnership this year as category sponsor for the Tech Team of the Year.
Spearheading the firm’s involvement was Partner and Head of Commercial, Kate Westbrook, who has become a regular on the judging panel and attended the event, alongside Thrings colleagues, to present the award to Tech Team of the Year winners Excalibur.
Also in attendance from the firm were Partners Ramona Derbyshire and Alex Pinhey, Associate Conor Melvin and Solicitors Annahita Roohi and Noah Ofulue.
Kate Westbrook said: “Once again, the Techies was an amazing celebration of all things tech and it was a pleasure to present the award to Excalibur. They really demonstrated in their entry their commitment, not just to their clients but to each and every member of their team.
