Thrings meets…Niki Jenman and Christina Veal of New Forest Ice Cream

After her mum and dad were let down by their regular ice cream supplier, Christina Veal had the perfect solution to ensure her parents’ customers didn’t go without: make it themselves. They duly followed their daughter’s advice, and 36 years later Lymington-based New Forest Ice Cream is manufacturing and delivering a range of luxury ice cream flavours to customers all over the UK.

In this month’s ‘Thrings meets’, Thrings partner Mary Chant talks to Christina and twin sister – and fellow director - Niki about life at the award-winning family business.
