King Edward VI School, Southampton has been part of the educational fabric of Hampshire for more than four-and-a-half centuries. In this month’s ‘Thrings meets’, outgoing head master Julian Thould reflects on his 16 years at the helm, and explains to Thrings partner Mary Chant how working with inspirational teachers and teaching talented pupils has helped the school rediscover its ‘can-do’ attitude.
