Tanya is an Associate within the Thrings Agricultural Litigation team, specialising in property disputes within the rural sector.

With extensive experience in dealing and advising individuals, executors, companies, developers and public bodies on a range of matters, Tanya regularly acts for clients on boundary disputes, adverse possession, rights of way, nuisance, trespass and landlord and tenant disputes.

Acting for a private individual in a convoluted and lengthy boundary disputes with elements of trespass, nuisance and harassment.
Applying and objecting to the First Tier Lands Tribunal (Property Chamber) for boundary determinations, prescriptive rights of way, adverse possession and rectifications of title.
Acting for a public body to successfully obtain an interim injunction to remove and prevent further trespasses on their land.
Acting for executors of an Estate to secure vacant possession of the Estate and instructing bailiffs to evict the trespasser.
Advising commercial landlords on a number of matters including opposed and unopposed 1954 Act lease renewals, contested break notices, disrepair and dilapidations, service charge issues, forfeiture and possession claims.
Acting for a Housing Association in defending a number of Japanese Knotweed claims, following the decision in Davies v Bridgend County Borough Council [2024] prior to the Supreme Court’s decision.
