Sue is an experienced property Lawyer and was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1997. She spent 16 years working in Local Government at both District and County level dealing with a wide variety of property matters before moving into private practice in 2002 dealing with residential and commercial conveyancing. Although now focusing on residential conveyancing, Sue undertakes some Parish level Local Authority work including dealing with Community Asset Transfers.

With more than 20 years residential conveyancing experience, Sue has developed expertise in all aspects of residential including sales, purchases, dealing with leasehold properties, transfer of part, mortgages/re-mortgages, Equity Release and thorough knowledge of both unregistered and registered conveyancing practice. Sue’s Local Government background has enhanced her knowledge of the conveyancing process in terms of familiarity with Local Government functions and search information.
Sue has worked for clients on a number of new build developments in the area as a “preferred conveyancer” for a range of developers.
With a focus on client care, Sue has a well established client base and has formed strong professional relationships with Estate Agents, Valuers, Surveyors and other property professionals which assists in ensuring the best outcomes are achieved.
Whilst taking a break from residential conveyancing, Sue was appointed as Compliance Officer for Legal Practice at a previous Firm and is now able to utilise the compliance knowledge into day to day conveyancing practice.
