Stephanie is an Associate Solicitor in the Bristol Family team at Thrings. Stephanie’s practice encompasses a diverse range of family law matters, including divorce and the resolution of finances, advising separating unmarried couples in relation to property disputes and preparing separation agreements. Stephanie also has substantial experience in private children cases, including representing clients in Court on such matters. In addition, Stephanie has experience in relation to domestic abuse matters, including applications for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.

Stephanie is a member of Resolution and is committed to resolving disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational manner.

  • Representing a vulnerable client in complex children act proceedings, consolidated with public law proceedings, involving multiple parties and a fact-finding hearing where there were significant abuse allegations against my client
  • Stephanie has extensive experience working with victims of domestic abuse, in addition to acting for clients who are experiencing challenges in respect of their physical and mental health and/or addiction issues.
  • Successfully negotiating agreements between parents to secure or regulate contact arrangements.
  • Negotiating financial settlements between parties going through the divorce process, including the preparation and subsequent implementation of Consent Orders.
  • Issuing financial remedy proceedings in circumstances where agreement between the parties cannot be achieved amicably.
  • Working with a range of experts, including Pension of Divorce Experts, chartered surveyors, forensic accountants and psychologists to provide instructions in relation to financial matters and children matters.
