Sophie is a Paralegal within the Succession & Tax team, working towards a role as a CILEX Lawyer. She works closely with Penelope Munro who is the Partner in our Bath office, along with Sam Longmore a Solicitor within the team.
Sophie has worked for Thrings since 2021, starting as a Legal Secretary before becoming a Paralegal.

Sophie has gained experience through her role as Legal Secretary in the Private Client team. This has created a pathway for natural progression into her role as Paralegal, providing her with a general understanding of matters.
Administering various estates to include estates of high value.
Administering various estate to include locating executors and/or beneficiaries of the estate.
Advising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising on capacity related issues.
Assisting in making Deputyship Applications with the Court of Protection.
Communicating with HM Revenue & Customs in relation to tax matters.
Preparing Trust Deeds and carrying out annual reviews on trusts.
Assisting with preparation of and advice on complex Wills.
