Key Experience

Sally’s relevant experience includes:

  • acting for the spouse of a property developer with a portfolio of over 30 properties (£10m) and reaching a resolution through round table meetings, with accountancy and tax advice throughout. A complex company structure meant significant thought was needed on how to reach a settlement to minimise tax to both parties and achieve a fair division of the property portfolio. A settlement was reached in a pragmatic and constructive manner without recourse to court
  • acting for a client going through divorce with significant agriculture land with potential development opportunity (circa £10m). This included considering all tax issues arising on disposal of land, valuations and development uplift, plus consideration of third party family members interests
  • acting for an entrepreneur with a very successful and rapidly growing company (£40m plus), dealing with valuation of the company on divorce, plus accountancy and tax advice
  • preparing a bespoke prenuptial agreement for an entrepreneur with a significant wealth portfolio
  • acting for the spouse of a client with an AIM-listed company on divorce, dealing with all share issues, tax and maintenance

  • Accredited Resolution Family Specialist in Family Finance and Children’s Work
  • Family Mediator
  • Collaborative Family Lawyer
  • Member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists
