Eve is an agricultural and rural land solicitor based in the Romsey office. Drawing from her experience working for many years as a more generalist commercial property lawyer, Eve has acted for landowners for the past few years on a variety of transactions.

Eve now specialises in renewable energy and minerals leases, as well as strategic land deals, including promotion, option and collaboration agreements and overages and the sale and purchase of rural and agricultural property (farms and estates) working closely with farmers, landowners, land agents and institutional lenders.

Eve prides herself in being approachable and proactive, focused on delivering positive outcomes for her clients to the best timeframe possible.

  • Agriculture
  • Strategic Land Transactions
  • Renewable Energy
  • Minerals
  • Buying and selling farms
  • Landed estates

  • The Grant of an option agreement to a national housebuilder over circa 75 hectares of land, involving a consortium of 4 landowners, including minimum price provisions, equalisation principles and overage provisions, as well as dealing adequately with reserved rights post-completion for any land to be retained by the landowners.
  • The Grant of a solar lease over 80.57 hectares of our landowner's client land as part of a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project.
  • The £28 million sale of part of a farm, pursuant to a Promotion Agreement, to a national housebuilder. The transaction naturally involved dealing with the reservation of adequate future developments rights for our client’s retained land and some overage provisions;
  • The £9 million sale of part of a client’s farm, pursuant to two Option Agreements. The transaction involved 5 landowners, the promoters and the buyers, with all the challenges involved with so many parties with complex elements such as an overage, deferred payments, security for such deferred payments, a continuing option agreement on the retained land and an option to call for future easements for the benefit of our client’s retained land;
  • The £4.5 million purchase of a farm with the benefit of planning permission.

“Eve always makes things so simple, talking in layman’s terms and always answering so promptly. A breath of fresh air after our last solicitor.” -
