    Advising on matters relating to insolvency and restructuring law, Charles assists businesses, insolvency practitioners and private clients in navigating complex distressed situations. Having originally trained at a magic circle firm and qualified into their German Insolvency and Restructuring Team, Charles has a wide range of experience in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. From advising directors on their duties in distressed situations to appointing insolvency practitioners, he is highly skilled and knowledgeable in all areas of his specialism. Charles is also fluent in English and German.

    • Assisting clients in navigating the complexities that arise when assets held by a company are identified after the company’s dissolution (i.e. liaising with Government Legal Departments and making applications for vesting orders).
    • Advising on transactions and other commercial arrangements where there is an insolvency risk in respect of one of the parties.
