Paralegal

As a Paralegal in the Family Team, Amy is sometimes the first point of contact when speaking to a potential new client. She supports the fee earners within the team and assists with communicating with the client, keeping them updated on the progress of their matter, completing paperwork or applications required, and any legal research needed. Amy will also attend client meetings and court hearings in person or remotely, as well as attending private Final Dispute Resolution hearings. Amy will liaise with barristers and their clerks in relation to a conference or hearing. Amy is a member of the Chartered Legal Executives (Cilex) and in the process of completing her paralegal training.

Amy has particular experience in assisting clients through the divorce process often alongside financial remedy, drafting Form Es, and then consent orders to reflect the agreements reached between parties. She also has experience drafting Change of Name Deeds, witness statements and collating bundles for the court.
