EU Plants Ltd, one of the country’s largest suppliers of strawberry, raspberry and blueberry plants and its directors, Mr and Mrs Slavchev, found themselves in difficulties with their neighbours as their business flourished, leading to an intensified use of their shared access route. Thrings partner, Russell Reeves, who acted for EU Plants Ltd in a case which reached the Court of Appeal, spoke to Farmers Weekly about how the case was won, with associate solicitor, Becky Smyth, sharing advice to consider when buying rural land.
