Ian and Christa Taylor who collected three awards in 2015 , including the coveted ‘Business of the Year’ title – joined businesses, headline sponsors Thrings and category sponsors at the family-run hotel for last week's launch event.
Now in their sixth year, the awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and commercial successes of individuals, entrepreneurs and organisations from Bath and the surrounding area over the past 12 months.
Host Alex Brown, acting editor of the Bath Chronicle, announced that businesses will compete for silverware in a total of 14 categories, including ‘Business of the Year’, which is once again being sponsored by Thrings.
The full list of categories is: Business of the Year; Business Person of the Year; Customer Service Award; Innovative Start Up Business; Small Business of the Year; Training and Development Award; Young Entrepreneur of the Year; Lifetime Achievement Award; Leisure and Tourism Award; Marketing Campaign of the Year; Contribution to the Community; Retailer of the Year; Best Place to Work Award; and Environmental Business of the Year.

The closing date for entries is 5pm on 5 August. Winners will be announced at a ceremony at Bath Racecourse on 22 September.
