Latest promotions reflect talent of Thrings’ services as 15 lawyers advance

15 new promotions across Thrings

Law firm Thrings is celebrating 15 new promotions across the firm continues to develop and strengthen the calibre of its teams across its offices.

Two new Partners, two Legal Directors, three Senior Associates and seven Associates have been appointed in the latest tranche of promotions, as well as the firm’s first Environmental Consultant.

Of the cohort stepping into new roles, almost half began with the firm as either a trainee or newly qualified solicitor, demonstrating the firm’s continued commitment to developing its staff throughout their careers.

In the latest round of promotions, Thrings has welcomed the appointment of two new Partners, Tara Connor-McLaren(Family) and Simon McIlroy (Property Litigation), from the Bristol and Bath office respectively, who advance to take on even more responsibility within their highly successful teams.

Also taking the next step in their career progression are new Legal Directors Naomi Butler (Real Estate) and Gavin Smith (Succession and Tax), who advance from their previous positions as Senior Associates.

Meanwhile, three new Senior Associates are being appointed through the round of promotions, Rukshana Khanom(Succession and Tax) in Romsey, Abi Sinden (Commercial), who is based across both Swindon and Romsey, and Gemma Goode (Succession and Tax) in Thrings’ Lydney office.

Six lawyers within the firm’s Bristol office have been made Associates in the latest wave of promotions, including Charlotte Clack (Real Estate), Katie McAlone (Property Litigation), Kiran Maher (Planning), Laura Shermon(Employment), Dan Gibson (Commercial Dispute Resolution) and Claire Kretzmann (Paragon Costs).

The final new Associate is in Thrings’ Lydney office with Moses Thompson stepping up within the Succession and Tax team.

A further promotion is also being made within Thrings’ Planning and Environment team as Solicitor Harvey Davies is appointed Environmental Consultant, reflecting his expertise within the emerging Natural Capital market, including his work to support developers and landowners around Biodiversity Net Gain and Nutrient Neutrality matters.
