Construction sector climate action award

Thrings is continuing its efforts to promote environmentally-focused change in the region’s booming construction sector as sponsor for a prestigious award recognising regional work to tackle climate change.

Taking place on Thursday, 18 July at the Aerospace Bristol Museum, the Constructing Excellence South West (CESW) Awards bring together the region’s flourishing development and construction sector, with Thrings having been announced as the sponsor for the Climate Action category.

Part of the Constructing Excellence Regional Partnership (CERP), CESW is a member-led organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction across the South West. Its work leads efforts across the region to continually better the construction sector through innovation and collaboration, with its membership spanning the entire supply chain.

One of the most prominent accolades in the South West's built environment, the CESW Awards celebrate exemplary practice and showcase the sector’s dedication and determination to deliver diverse buildings, housing, infrastructure, and facilities through collaborative and sustainable means.

As the firm’s representative on CESW, chairing the organisation’s Climate Crisis focus group, Thrings Partner Natalia Sokolov is set to present the award, having also served on the panel of judges.

Natalia Sokolov, Thrings’ Head of Construction and Lead for Clean Energy, said: “We are delighted to be a sponsor for this year’s CESW Awards, a fantastic event which brings together some brilliant minds from across the built environment sector.

“We are particularly pleased to be sponsoring the Climate Action category, showcasing some of the outstanding work being done in the South West region to promote quality, environmentally-conscious construction practices. Congratulations and best of luck to all the nominees!”
