Highlights

Our Employment and Immigration Team has been involved in a number of complex cases. Highlights include:

  • advising a PLC client on strategy for a major programme of restructure and consolidation, involving site closure and relocation, with collective consultation on redundancies and compliance issues
  • advising a client in the agriculture and food sector on the closure of a business division; including advising on the restructure and redundancies in two phases: (1) closing the division, (2) restructuring central functions including relocation
  • advising a client with international subsidiaries on a restructure, involving redundancies and settlements in other jurisdictions
  • providing corporate support on a number of multi-million pound M&A deals, managing the process of informing and consulting employees under TUPE, and drafting and negotiating warranties and indemnities
  • advising a major US corporate on redundancies in its UK workforce
