Associate Solicitor - Commercial Property

With considerable expertise in property law, Iain has a particular specialism in renewable energy projects. His experience stretches from  commercial landlord and tenant matters to also include residential development projects and licenced premises.

In addition to his work on renewable schemes, Iain has advised on the letting and management of commercial portfolios,   easements and access rights, and corporate sale agreements. Whether advising individuals or our multinational clients, Iain has a proven expertise and a trusted reputation.

Key Experience

Iain’s relevant experience includes:

  • advising land owners on letting their properties for solar PV scheme and battery storage facilities
  • advising a provider of innovative sustainable waste and power solutions on community energy schemes and major solar PV schemes ranging from 5MW to 50MW in size
  • acting on behalf of private investors in the acquisition, development and disposal of various properties across London, the South East and South West
  • advising corporate occupiers – including a US multi-national – on their property requirements
  • advising a private investor on the lettings and portfolio management of a major city-centre office building in Birmingham
