Director of Quality and Risk

Anna qualified as a solicitor in 1993. She also has pre-qualification experience of managing advice services, advocacy and regulatory compliance. Anna was a Litigator in private practice but made the move to law firm risk management in 2000. Anna has built and managed risk functions in a top 50 and a top 30 firm and has also spent some time working as an SRA Relationship Manager working with City & Global firms on their approach to managing risk.

Anna joined Thrings in 2014. She reports to our Managing Partner, Simon Holdsworth, and has a particular interest in business process improvement and using sound risk management principles to improve client service quality. Anna and the team are responsible for developing and managing systems and controls to help manage risk and offer advice and help with matter management best practice, professional and regulatory compliance, complaints and claims handling and the firm’s library and information services.
