Gemma Featonby and Fionnuala Nolan are in Manchester for three days of presentations, networking, strategy meetings, exhibitions, education and social events at what is the largest gathering of retail property specialists in the UK.

Fellow partners Bill Dunmore and Ben Tarrant, and legal director Rebecca Balmforth, will join Gemma and Fionnuala at Revo which attracts major commercial and residential investors and developers, real estate equity analysts, UK and international retailers, leisure operators, construction and infrastructure companies and local authorities.

The team will take the opportunity to showcase and strengthen Thrings’ growing retail offering, meet with their existing clients and make new contacts from across the retail sector.

They will also join more than 600 occupiers representing 250 international fashion, homewares, and food and beverage brands in picking up some top retail tips from guest speakers including Ed Cooke, CEO of Revo, Charlie Barke, head of retail investment at Knight Frank, Peter Cowgill, executive chairman at JD Sports, and BBC business reporter, Steph McGovern.

Thrings acts for UK and international retailers at all stages of their development, from start-ups opening their first store and new franchises to expanding high street stores and luxury retailers. Its clients currently include House of Fraser, Matchesfashion.com, Corneliani, Bremont Watch Company and Kathryn Sargent.

The team also works with clients looking to develop their on- and offline retail presence, advising on matters such as intellectual property, employment contracts, store openings, funding, storage, distribution, planning, construction and fit-outs.
