Statement: Cybercrime and scam emails

Written by Reality House | Sep 14, 2016 10:13:36 AM

Email scams may involve the promise of access to unclaimed funds or perhaps a surprise inheritance. Fraudulent emails often use the name of a solicitor from a legitimate, SRA-registered law firm but the contact numbers and email addresses provided will lead the recipient to the fraudster and not the real solicitor or law firm.

Thrings takes the security of client data and fraud prevention extremely seriously. If you receive an unusual or unexpected email which names one of our lawyers, please contact solicitors@thrings.com.
